NFPA 70E Training Built for Elk Grove Village Facilities

Elk Grove Village is home to the largest contiguous industrial park in North America — more than 3,600 businesses across roughly five square miles of manufacturing, metal fabrication, plastics processing, food production, and logistics operations serving O'Hare International Airport. The village has also become one of Chicagoland's data center hotspots, with major colocation campuses drawing on dedicated substation capacity, and the surrounding O'Hare submarket adds thousands more warehouse and distribution facilities from Bensenville to Itasca and Schaumburg.

That concentration of industry means an equally dense concentration of electrical infrastructure: 480V three-phase services, motor control centers driving conveyors and CNC equipment, aging switchgear in 1970s-era industrial buildings, VFDs on HVAC and process loads, and UPS/generator systems behind every data hall. Maintenance electricians, facilities engineers, and contractors working this equipment face real arc flash and shock exposure every shift — exactly the hazards NFPA 70E qualified electrical worker training is built to control.

Our 8-hour NFPA 70E Qualified Electrical Worker class in Elk Grove Village serves plant maintenance teams, in-house electricians, data center facilities techs, and electrical contractors from across the northwest suburbs and greater Chicago — covering arc flash risk assessment, shock protection boundaries, PPE selection, energized work permits, and lockout/tagout, aligned to the current NFPA 70E edition and OSHA 1910.331-335.
