NFPA 70E Training Built for Greensboro Facilities

The Piedmont Triad has quietly become one of the Southeast's strongest manufacturing regions. Honda Aircraft Company builds the HondaJet at PTI Airport; HAECO Americas runs heavy aircraft MRO next door; Toyota's battery manufacturing campus at the Greensboro-Randolph Megasite is ramping toward thousands of employees; and Boom Supersonic is standing up its Overture factory on the airport's north side. The region's legacy industries — furniture around High Point, textiles reborn as technical fabrics, Volvo Trucks in Greensboro and Mack in nearby Cleveland NC — plus distribution giants along I-40/I-85 round out a dense industrial base in Duke Energy territory.

Aircraft assembly and MRO involve hangar power systems, ground support electrical, and test equipment; battery manufacturing runs formation and process power at scale few facilities match; and heavy truck assembly means robot cells and conveyor MCCs. Every one of those environments requires NFPA 70E qualified electrical workers for energized inspection, testing, and troubleshooting under OSHA's electrical safety standards.

Our 8-hour NFPA 70E Qualified Electrical Worker class in Greensboro serves aerospace and automotive plant electricians, maintenance techs, facilities engineers, and contractors from across the Triad — Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington, and Asheboro — covering arc flash risk assessment, boundaries and PPE, energized work permits, and lockout/tagout under the current NFPA 70E edition.
